The Precious Treasures International Middle School students are making international connections as a part of their programme. They are on their way to Bermuda to experience a different culture where they will practice skills that they have learned in international mindedness. We hope that through this activity, our students will become more internationally aware through experiences that will help them to:
– gain knowledge and understanding beyond that related to their own nationality.
– develop an increasing sense of their own identity (self-awareness) alongside developing a sense of others’ viewpoints and their identities.
– develop an understanding of the independence and interdependence of peoples, countries and cultures.
– experience different methods of teaching.
