Learning at Precious Treasures International School is based on a student-centered and learning focused educational philosophy that places students and their learning at the center of all school activities. A special emphasis is placed on a holistic education that seeks to provide students with balanced academic, social, spiritual and physical development.

As you browse the pages of our website you will gain an insight into our strong sense of community, a passion for internationalism and innovative approaches of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) with the aim of “Capturing Curiosity”, and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), that leads to ‘Great Learning, Great Teaching and Great Fun’ in the Primary Years.

As we enter the Middle Years, the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) offers a challenging, engaging, internationally-minded, concept- focused curriculum designed specifically for the unique learning needs of 11-14 year olds in lower secondary; approaches that lead to ‘Making Meaning, Connecting Learning and Developing Minds.’

Our goal is to provide young children with all the tools necessary for them to develop in a stimulating and well equipped learning environment. Team Leader’s Message

Precious Treasures International School was established over 35 years ago and has developed a rich history of holistic excellence in our students throughout the Turks & Caicos Islands. Precious Treasures International School has earned a reputation for providing high quality teaching and learning experiences to children from various cultural backgrounds. As visionaries in education, we have developed our programme to suit learners of diverse backgrounds as we prepare students for a future that we have not seen. Furthermore, our programmes offer experiences that are linked to best practices and which encourage skills building which is necessary for students to progress to the next level of their educational journey.

At Precious Treasures International School, we are deeply committed to excellence in our academic programmes and services which are provided to our students. We are a school family which endorses Judeo-Christian teachings and principles, and we recognize that each child is a unique gift from God. It is our view that meeting the many diverse needs presented by our students is a challenge which we accept enthusiastically and acknowledge that this can only be done with God’s help who we believe is the creator of all things.
